Meet Summer Nicole Rydel, DDS

Dr. Summer Rydel graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.

During her time in Lubbock, she was actively involved in her sorority and a member of Golden Key National Honors Society. After graduating, Dr. Summer Rydel served as a dental assistant in Austin while preparing for dental school. She moved to New York to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry and returned to set up her own practice, A Summer Smile. To remain current in her field, she is a member of the Capital Area Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

When she is not in the office, Dr. Rydel gives back to the community through outreach programs and sponsorships. After restoring smiles during the week, you will find her on the tennis courts or spending quality time with her husband Mike and their precious dog, Bella!
